Just a quick post to let you know a few things! I am still attending Weight Watchers and to date have lost 14 pounds. I am pleased with that but I am struggling to keep on track. I have a long ways to go yet! Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Also wanted to remind you all that Prim Pals has extended the draw date on the giveaway. It will be next Monday the 14th. Stop over to the forum and sign up. You can also see a sneak peek of some of the other items being given away. And then the very next day I believe the PAFA giveaway ends! Going to be some happy winners next week woohoo!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your weight loss. All I can say to you is take it one day at a time. It's hard to stay away from all the "bad" food sometimes, but just keep thinking about how good you are looking and feeling without all that extra weight. That's what I do...my pants are fitting much looser and will soon be able to go down a size...and if you fall off the wagon be sure to get back on...everyone slips now and then.

ReplyDeleteHolli, Congratulations, 14 lbs. is AWESOME!!!! VERY proud of you and one tip i have heard while trying to lose wt. is drink alot of water with lemon in it,real lemon, not the bottled concentrate, the lemon helps to flush out your system, and aids in the wt. coming off:)

ReplyDeleteWhen I lost weight on WW there were times that it was hard for me to stay on track too...it was really hard when going to family and friends homes and at the holidays. But I learned to not beat myself up about it and made sure that I got back on track. I learned not to give up just because I was having a bad day or even if I had a few bad days in a row.
Losing 14 lbs is wonderful!! Very proud of you!! Keep up the great work!!

Don't go to the store hungry and it is easier to leave it at the store, than to leave it in the cupboard! I changed my eating a bit, this week and rode my exercise bike, once and I lost

ReplyDeleteI have never done WW so no advice to that but Carmen posted a very true and good tip about the water. You need to drink 8-10 cups per day to keep your system flushed. NOT drinking water causes you to retain fluids because your body stores them up. I am currently drinking 2-3 cups after each meal, beakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack. I can tell I feel poofy if I skip a day.

Congrats to you, that is great. I agree on the water, 8 glasses a day. Also drink an 8 oz glass of grapefruit juice in the morning 3 or 4 times a week. The other days have a cup of tea. Grapefruit is great for a diet.
