Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

Today was our Thanksgiving here in Canada. I have so many things to be thankful for this year. My own health and especially the health of my brother and all my family. To have a job and a roof over our head and to have my husband back to work after 3 long years. I am thankful for all my friends both here at home and in my online groups. You are all very special to me and I treasure the friendships I have made. My sister cooked today and our whole family was there. This is a pic my husband took of us all after dinner. My brother is in the middle, my sister Kelly and her two girls on the left and mom me and my son(with his new mohawk...lord help me) on the right!

Its not often we get a good picture of all of us so it was nice. I suspected my brother would say no....but he was a good sport about it.

I would also like to say I am thankful for ALL the troops both Canadian and American who are fighting a war to keep us all safe. I pray for their safety while defending our rights.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

  5. Happy Thanksgiving. My son sports a mohawk too! It's a faze thing...he's been through it twice now...only time it really bothered me was when he came home with it the first was dyed black and blue...well I wanted to make him black and blue! LOL! He tried to dye it bright green this wouldn't take. He's had it orange and black for his old girlfriends school colors. He also had it bright pink for breast cancer awareness...gotta love boys...he's 20 and overall a good kid, junior in college, into body building, so if that's the extent of the trouble he gets in, then I guess it's not too bad.
